red is easier on the eyes at night that makes sense  red is also the color to use if you want them on while you are driving at night, its the only color that won't destroy night vision. Thank you very much for your advice. I am a noob. I love blue and green, but it seems that red is more practical at night. I think I will consider the red.

On the not sure if it is bright enough in Red...Buy a dimmer switch if possible as if they are like mine they are very very bright.
