I have decided on the original Hamby's for my new skeeter. Who do recommend for the install in East Texas (Tyler). I talked to the place on Lake Palestine and he said 3 weeks. I'm looking to get it done sooner than that but want a quality install. I'm willing to drive to get it done. Also, my boat is white with blue/silver striping. Any suggestions on a Hamby's color? Will white get stained by muddy water or should I go with a blue or silver? Thanks for any advice.

I always use black. Probably too far to drive but there is a great guy with a hamby jig in Broken Bow Ok. and he will be able to get right on it. Besides the big fish are hammering on BB.

What color is your hull?

I always get black on mine and am not a huge fan of white because they will discolor.

Call Ben & Diamond Sports Marine @ Lake Fork a call, 903-383-7829. He will work you in and treat you right! Tell him Cody sent ya! Maybe you can drive in drop it off and spend a half day on the water water with me catching some of my swimbait fish thumb

Cody,

My hull is white. I will look into Diamond Sports Marine. About how long does the install take? Haven't fished with swimbaits, but I've caught a 9 and 7.5 this year in a few trips to Fork. Barely missed a truck with the 9 and the 7.5 was a half inch in the slot. Thanks for your input and I might give you a call.

I have installed several dozen and it generally takes 1.5-2 hrs to prep, install and I prefer to let sit overnight on the Hambus jack stand to insure proper seating and drying

Hobbs they only offer black and gray now. The white ones would stain and the material was too soft. We install the 6' black Hambys for $525.00 plus tax and shop supplies. We can install one in one day. Just call John to schedule. 972-771-4442

Use Tommy's Rockwall Marine. It's worth the drive time, they're the best!

Tommy Yetts at Rockwall Marine is the place to get it done. Get a black one.

God Bless,
Stephen

I've always used Hamby's that are instulled by a dealer and I've always used black. I've heard good things about Rockwall Marine.
