Anyone found a solution to updating the navionics premium chip? I still get the message about the card being full and that I need to delete some files. Navionics tech support was suppose to email me last week but haven't gotten anything from them.

Yes I have. Take the contents of your card and copy them to your desktop. Delete only the nv2 files. Make sure you save any file that has txt on it.
It is a long download but it is a huge improvement.

When I open my Charts folder on my desktop. All is see are NV2 files. I don't see any txt files. Also, If i make the changes on the desktop, do I copy it back to the card after the changes?

Make sure you explore any hidden folders. If they are not there then you are good. If they are there then the txt files are the only ones you will need to copy back to the card after the upgrade.
You will also get a Navionics PC app for your computer that will allow you to see all the maps that are on your card from your home computer.

I got the same info from the tech team, I'm just not brave enough to chance loosing all the files by deleting the wrong ones. I guess I'll wait until later and trade this one in. I just bought 2 new cards in Jan and already they are obsolete.

While everything for Fork looks great, I've found an issue with the updated maps for Toledo Bend. Some areas of data are missing. I've notified Navionics of this today and will post the answer they provide.

Fork is still horrible. While fishing Saturday, I pulled up to a popular road bed/ bridge. Saw it on my 08 chip at the console. Went up front 10 my 2010 chip and nada. Garbage. Yes, I updated my chip last week.

Thanks for the reply Mbroyer. It seems that my spam filter was catching the email. I got it taken care of now. I did the update but won't be able to see if the card works until I'm at the lake in a few weeks.

Cranknherm The map on Toledo has not been updated yet. We are working on Toledo and Sam Rayburn as we speak. The only update so far is to Lake Fork.
Tracker Tim, Please send me the exact location you are talking about in a Private Message. Thanks. I was on the Lake myself and verified many of the updates and they were there, if one was missed we would like to know about it. That is the great thing about freshest data if we find new data or need to add, fix or delete data we can on the next update at no charge to you.
Ron Glad to see that our Customer Service dept was able to help you. Tight lines.

Will the Rayburn update include any data in the Canyons, up the Attoyac or Angelina? You really have alot of stuff missing. Also the railroad brige just North of 147 bridge is missing. I would really like to see that Cranknherm The map on Toledo has not been updated yet. We are working on Toledo and Sam Rayburn as we speak. The only update so far is to Lake Fork.
