Hey yall,

I loaned my brother my saltwater tackle box (for one of his co-workers) and now its been lost. Im expecting him to pay me back for the loss and Im trying to remember how much money he exactly owes me.

This is what I remember so far:

- Red w/ White Tail Shrimp Tails.
- Gold & Silver Spoons.
- Jerk Baits (Mainly White, Pink, and Red)

I mainly wade fish for Specks & Reds at Galveston, Bolivar, and Texas City Dike.

Im hoping I can finally go back out to this weekend for some early morning wade fishing and I need to have this problem taken care of.

Thanks for yalls help

Its been awile since I was out, but had good luck on Copper colored shrimp tails. Gold spoons. Gander Mountain sometimes has some nice baits in their sales bins. I picked up some silver swimming baits there that also did good last time out.

Yeah, I heard copper-color of soft plastics is producing good.

I keep thinking once I get to the water, I'll realize Ive forgotten something important.

What you do yall often have high confidence in?

Don't forget topwaters. She Dogs or Spooks. In the Galveston bay system, I like plum colored soft plastics with white or chartreuse tails.

Hmm, I remember seeing some fishing show on VS with some fellas fishing in Louisana marshes and using 'Plum' colored soft swimbaits

The water color is very similar I saw there was similar to what Galveston is most of the time.

Thanks again

chartreuse tails work well in muddy water.

I definitely got terminal tackle, but want to refrain from live/dead bait.

But I definitely forgot about topwaters. I remember that I had 2 Chugbugs. One was white w/ orange head, the other was chartreuse.

Definitely throw the Chug Bugs. They produce. It's one of my go to tops, esp. the chrome/chartreuse.

For topwaters I throw spook Jr's, he and she dogs . The bone and chartreuse colors work well! Plum and pumpkin seed with chartreuse tail assassins are killer.

Thanks again.

Seeing yall's comments, I think Im going to try make a similar tackle set, but with chartreause colors.

I used to always swear by red, white, and pink.
But maybe I can multiply my success with chartreause.

Gulp shrimp, mullet, and flukes with 1/8-1oz jigheads. If I can't catch anything with them, then are no fish where I'm wading, and I need to move.
