Have any of y'all ever crappie fished in North Carolina? I'm taking the wife and 5 kids to Lake James, NC this summer for a week for a wedding...UGH...to make it worth the trip we got a place on Lake James with some friends. Just wondering if anyone has ever fished there or any other lakes in NC. Any tips or advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

I hear it is an awesome walleye lake, go to crappie.com and check out the walleye section. I fished Kerr lake on the border of N.C and VA and that is a great crappie lake.

Thanks jsplinter!!! We are looking forward to the trip and will also try for walleye....never fished them before but my late brother used to slay them in Michigan. Most of all, thanks for your service to our country and your sacrifice for our freedom in the US military.
