Hey all just moved to Jacksonville. looking for some good lakes, good fish, and good company. Palestine close, good lakes to fish on?

palestine is a great lake, suggestion would be not to go north until you learn the lake, lots and lots of snags, stumps and trees up there. come out and say hi weds, maybe talk about joining our club, we do lots of lakes at different times each year, our next will be at athens june 4/5. Just ask for woody on weds morning

Thanks Elkhart, will certainly take your advice and give ya all a look sometime. At the moment I have been advised to rest, heart attack 7 weeks ago, moved in with over protective daughter! How long do the weekly tournys run for?

until nov this year i beleave, get better, learn your limitations for sure, i had three before i did. feel free to write anytime ill keep you informed on things going on around here

had 20 today, little windy but still took almost 11 1/2 to win it, and almost 5 1/2 for a big fish, note if you would these are INDIVIGUAL tournaments, if you have more than one in your boat, you are not allowed to share fish, you must catch your own....we are on the honor system and expect you to be honorable at the tournament.....hope to see everyone there next weds

Sure hope that my daughter lets me out before November. Cant blame her, her mother, my wife died of a heart attack three years ago, so this one, my first shook us both up.
