I've got a battery that won't seem to charge all the way down to "green". It charges down to two red LED lights but won't charge any farther. I can hear the battery bubbling while it's at this stage. I assume my battery is about dead. Anyone agree/disagree?

If it's bubbling, it's dead - replace it. Never had one bubble and hold a charge after that.

Mine was doing the exact same thing. One of the two batteries would not charge to green. The charge wouldn't last anytime either. The batteries were almost too hot to touch after they had been on the charger for a while. Replaced both batteries and now they charge to green in no time and do not bubble afterwards.

Yep, dead battery.

I have the same problem with mine. If I hear it bubbling and unplug for a couple of minutes they both go to green. Might be wrong but maybe a bad charger.I can run my Maxxum74 all day with no problem!!!

Got the battery tested yesterday. It was dead. Purchased a new Everstart. Two green lights now, problem solved.
