Well I went and took my twin 4 yr old girls with me today. I took their pink Barbie poles for the girls. The wind was not near as bad as this morning but we pretty much stayed around Roberson Park. Got the girls on some sandies and yellows. Nothing really big but it was fun for them. I put a SSS on the poles and said girls drop em down and lift a little off the bottom and they caught fish. The funny thing is I used one of their poles as we were about to head in today and Wham and huge Hybrid. It took me 10 minutes get it in cause the drag was screaming on the Barbie pole. I did not weigh it or anything but is was a good 4-5 pounder easy. That was fun. Ok now for the weird part. So we are just putting around and we see a blue rope in the water. I think to myself I but someone got broke off and that is a anchor on the other end. So I pull and pull and pull this rope. I could not move it. I tied to the boat and tried to pull and it made my boat dip down on one side but I got it loose. So now I am pulling this thing up and on the other end was a large bag. I am thinking someone done threw some money over board in this bag as this bag was sunk on purpose the way it was tied up. I open this bag and it is full of tools. I am talking like a 100 pounds of tools. So if someone is missing some tools let me know. Just describe these tools that are in the bag I will return them. Very strange.

Way to go Raymond! Quite a story! Were the tools old? Can you tell? I went to a Rockwall County Commissioners Presentation one time regarding the making of Lake Ray Hubbard and they talked about all the machinery and other construction items that are still at the bottom of the lake because of the big rains that came in and filled the lake up before they were ready for it to be filled. i wonder if you got a relic from the olden days.

Anyway, way to put those girls on some fish! clap
I bet that Hybrid was fun on the Barbie Pole!

Those moments with your girls are priceless. It reminds me of my daughter who is now 31 and still loves to fish with dad.

Way to go Raymond. cheers

Need to get my granddaughter out with her barbie pole and put a smile on her face like you did for your girls. Bag of tools, secondary anchor when you loose your primary anchor.

Precious moments! I like the second pic for next months TFF front page pic! Was a little worried with what was going to be in the bag. Glad it turned out to be tools.
