There are a few on Allcoast who like to get 40 people together to charter the Big E.
Anybody interested?

Nothing in stone as yet, just been tossed out on the Allcoast board.
Getting 40 people to agree on anything is one heck of a job.

Since allcoast is down, ill quickly detail the info here

48hrs the new moon during Sept 30 - Oct 2 is the date I liked the best but hey who am I smile

looks like the trip is 15k + 1750 fuel (which may change up or down)
TOO is offering to organize it for us for 10$ a person which I think is reasonable.

so if we get 40 it'll be $428.75
if its limited to 30 as some have suggested
$568.33

1/2 up front and half due a month before.

so 2 pmts of 215$ or 284$ ish

or id like to see the trip get extended to 60 hrs
in which case the cost would be 20K + 3000 fuel charge
or 575$ for 40 people or 766$ for 30 people
trip would leave at 7 am friday and return 7 pm on sunday

oh, if you put up your deposit and are included if you must drop you'd loose the deposit and those still going would be expected to make up the difference, that is unless you could get someone to fill your spot. this is mainly so TOO doesnt wind up out money on the deal

if we can get the people I think this could be a very good trip in prime tuna time

RB, there is plenty room for the Big E trip, and you're on the list. Not sure how many folks are in, but we to get the word out about this trip for those wanting to do a trip on this boat.
IMPORTANT If anyone on Quatro Tuna wants to pull out and try the Big E email me. No big deal, just need to know. All I need to know is if Quatro T will still be a go. We got 15 signed up and 3 on a waiting list. Walleye and a buddy, and SkR.
The Big E is not available on the dates of Quatro T, so we can't do a switch.
As posted by Galv02, T.O.O. has offered to do the collecting and the details of organizing the trip, but to get to the 30-40 people we need some word of mouth and spreading of the word to other forums.
Folks interested can email me at outdoorstexas@yahoo.com or at too@outdoorstexas.com
Neat, fast, new boat able to fish 200 miles out on a 48 hour trip. Definitely state-of-the-art and worth the cost to fish some neat areas.
As for myself, I'm still on Quatro T and hope it won't be just me! laugh

I'm in for Quatro Tuna and am just trying to find a driver to go on the Big E.
One thing is for darn sure, if I do both I'll be giving away a lot of fish.

TOO, count me out of Quatro if the trip for the Big E gets done (Unless it's the days mentioned above, wife's b-day is Oct 1st and I doubt a fishing trip is in her plans frown ) Also, if you're keeping the head count for the Big E, put me down for 2. Thanks for all that you do Willie!

If anyone is ever up to get a few friends together and take a private charter, let me know.. It would cost about 600 a person for a 24 hour trip and u would have less lines to worry about breaking u off. I wont make this trip but might be interested in a snapper/AJ trip or another tuna trip sometime..
