Had the chance to take my daughter fishing this afternoon. My parents just moved into an apartment complex with a sizable pond through the complex. They have seen other's fishing, so went and purchased some night crawlers and took my daughter fishing. It was slow until we found the right spot. She really surprised me with her casting and catching. She was able to catch around 10 fish, mostly bream and one bass around 1 lb. After every fish, she would do her little dance and then watch me toss them back in. She was very excited and when it was close to dark, I said we had to leave and she wanted to stay. I told her that she could make one last cast and with in a minute she caught her last fish. No pressure for her. She is already asking to go fishing again. banana smile smile smile

Hey Stratos!

Thanks for sharing the report! I have 2 daughters that love fishing almost as much as I do!

I really like the one last cast part.

I love it when little kids enjoy it.

I had to haul one back on the pier at humphreys once that probably wasnt just a whole lot older(2-3 years). He had hooked into a red and wasnt about to let the pole go. It was barely 1/8 inch short....i felt so bad making him toss it back smile
