All my catches never coincide with the solunar table. The days where the fishing was expected to be excellent was actually poor. The days where the fishing was to supposed to "fair at best" were actually outstanding.

I have used the solunar predictions with some success, you also have to remember other factors will effect fish feeding habits such as tide, wind, or is there even bait in the water you are fishing, barometric pressure etc.

But from what Ive seen, the other factors almost always outweighed the Solunar factor. Solunar Theory is what it is, a THEORY. It worked for the guy that developed it, but it doesnt work for me.

Solunar is based on astrology type stuff. In other words, doodoo.
It is NOT based on careful scientific study.

Some people just like catching. I like fishing.

The saltwater bite is most closely associated to the tides. More specifically, moving tides. This is also affected wind, which can drive tides. There's many other factors as well but if you'll fish moving tides you'll do better.
