I tried to call in sick this weekend, but it didn't work out too well for me

Got out to the lake and the wind didn't seem too bad, so I got the boat in the water, zipped over to a couple of stumps in about 6 fow, caught two nice females full of eggs then got tired of having to get on my trollin motor every five seconds so I loaded up and went to work. Got my crappie fix in and got to feel a few thumps so that should hold me over till next time. smile

I fished Lewisville Thursday morning and did well. Fish hit Fools Gold jigum's on bridges and brushpiles about 12'-15' deep.

Thanks for the report Ernest! The water sure was muddy. The ones I caught hit a blk/chart crappie thunder jig and didn't let go. grin Do you know of any docks that are "shootable" around Little Elm area of the lake? Would like to try that technique as I have heard it produces crappie this time of year. Thanks.

Ernest, were you in a Lund taking out at the little elm ramp on Thursday. It looked like you but I could not tell. I did pretty good there as well, ended with 20 for the morning.

There were a lot of boats out today when I went. lotta pleasure boats and fishing boats and one little 8 and a half foot bass buster just tryin to keep afloat through all their wakes. scared Caught 3 fish. One 14.5 incher and two under 12. all catch&release cuz I didn't catch enough to mess with cleaning. Needing a fish finder so I can broaden my horizons as far as fishing spots go. If any of ya'll have one you don't use and you'd like to cut a deal, just shoot me a pm or ship it directly to my house. haha. cheers
