The city has put little docks all over Town Lake and they move weekly. Last weekend there was one near shoal creek, look good it's behind some willow trees on the left side of the path.

There is also a permanent dock next to the Intl Hostel on E. Riverside Drive and there's another movable dock just W of the I35 Bridge.

I've fished a pier on lake Travis that is pretty kool. Its called the Easy Street Marina. The web site is below. I've caught crappie & white bass there but from all the pictures they have on the wall you can catch pretty much anything there. It's shaded, has benches, and only costs $5 for a whole day. It's open 24/7, so you can come and go as you please. At night they turn on flood lights above the water and swarms of shad and minnow swim under them. Check it out if you have a chance.

I've fished Arkansas Bend for carp and Buffalo it's a nice place for camping too but when the water is down, like it is now it's kinda tough. Speaking of water down I went to Easy Street Marine yesterday and the water was the lowest I've ever seen it. I saw a girl fishing in there and asked if she was having any luck. She said she caught just a couple of small ones. The water was really muddy, you couldn't see 1/2 inch in the water. I'm getting ready to drive out there now to see what's going on. It's a great place for me to fish after I get off of work at night 12:30AM. So I might be out there a couple of times in the next month. I don't expect much but it looks like a good place to read a book and let the fish catch them self.

I just got back, there wasn't a soul fishing. I took a lttle vid of the area and will post it later tonight when it DLs. For flathead, it looks like a good enough place. I may do some night fishing out there for cats.
