If you lived in Dallas and was hurting to go do some flats and close off shore fishing, where would you head? I would be fishing out of an 18' bay boat...I have never fished saltwater anywhere in texas except for the lower laguna madre and was looking for somewhere closer. How is Galveston bay? and where on the bay would you fish for Trout and Redfish?

Leave the boat at home. Get a guide and
take the boat next time. Good contact is
Billy Sandifer in Corpus. He may try to
talk you into going to Padre Island for
surf fishing right now, but will take you
in the bays too. There may be some guys
who know there stuff as good as him, but
none better. He is a hoot to fish with too.
