whats a good punchbait that i can buy from academy's,wal mart, etc. I have had best luck with cut bait minnows 7 so forth. but have been wanting to try out some punchbait

CJ's shad flavor works well. Available at academy.

Try the cj's monster bait too.

A bait store near Breckenridge carries Ron's Punch bait. Anyone used it? Stays on the hook really well.

Many of today's punch/dip baits catch some fish.
Most baits fall under 3 choices.
1 Blood 2 Cheese 3 Fish
Some stay on the hook better depending on how your fishing.
Most lake's have a favorite.

i've heard a lot of talk about sureshot & i plan to buy some. havent got around to it yet. But for now im just looking for something i can have by this weekend. i think i will just stop
by academy for some cj's.

CJ's shad is good stuff, but go ahead and order in some Shurshot from Benny Roberts. Either one will fill your freezer.

I hear good things about Sureshot, here in B/CS Academy they carry all the CJ's line but the Monster goes quick.

id go with the cj's shad punch. its at academy, worked for me on a lake i thought had run outta fish.
