If had the money to buy a yak, it would be the Coosa Elite.

It's the premier river fishing yak on the market at this point. Check out their youtube video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-1nq7m97lo) to see what it can do. However, since it's so river oriented, it struggles on flat water. It has a high bow (for bouncing over waves in rapids) that tends to be affected by crosswinds, and doesn't have a lot of speed to quickly get from point A to point B on flat water. If you're a river yakker, there's nothing better. Test drive one, you'll find out for yourself.
 Free test drives, everyday!

I have one and its the perfect kayak to fish/camp out of, plenty of storage in the hull and several fishing specific knacks that are really nice. The youtube video covers it all. Duane is right, it does catch some wind and isn't the fastest boat on the water but there are definitely more positives than negatives. After a couple trips, I am now very comfortable standing and fishing out of the Coosa. It feels a little weird at first but you catch on quick.

Like both of mine. They get used a lot for river camping. Like Brady said, there are a lot of positive things about it. I'm 250 and can load it for three day campout and myself with no water coming through the scuppers.
