I'd been having some problems with my trolling motor. So this Spring me and my partner fished a tournament, the temperature was about 40 degress at take off. I get the boat unloaded and decide to drop the trolling motor in the water to do my check. Well, the time has come and I hammer it...with the trolling motor still in the water! Soaked us both and we froze our azzes off the entire morning...not to mention the other guys pointing and laughing...damn that was embarrasssing!

It was getting dark so I put my sunglasses on my cap. The bugs started coming out buzzin around my face. So I do what I normally do swing at them with my cap. ka-plunk. This is why I get the berkely sunglasses for $5 at wal mart.

Had my boat slide off the trailer while backing it down the ramp. It looked like it was in the launch position. Lucky nothing happened to the boat only my pride 
Two things in life you can never have to much of. Money or Fun!

this should be a book,... FISH'N for DUMMIES..
Trolling along and reached down to get a plug off the floor so as not to get it stuck in the carpet,...backed up to lean against the butt seat, missed the seat, and fell in Lake Fork.
Lucky it was summer,...my new best friend is a Mustang Auto.

Was pulling off frayed line, cut it off, then re-tied the same bait to the frayed line.
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

Forgot to remove the hook guard on a new buzz bait. Took me 2 stikes before I looked at it close enough to realize the problem.

Fishing a tourn. Early morning yellow magic bite. Hung on something. Jerk the rod and yellow magic came flying back. Still dark, and landed in my leg. Went in past the barb. Couldn't see, only had small flash light. Tried to pull it out. But I had open the barbs wider. So when it got light enough. I pulled out some braid. Made me a loop. Had the hook eye down. Sucker came right out. Only to pull the rear hooks into my leg. Now that's stupid. But after all this. I'm still stuck to my line. Havent thought about taking hooks off the bait. So I'm working up to pulling a double hook out. Both past the barb. Get ready to start. And a snake is trying to crawl onto my rear deck. Anyone has a champion knows how low the boat sets in the water. He came right in. So I'm in the front of the boat. Snakes down in the floor. I pull the first time. I slipped an almost passed out. Snake still down in floor. Get ready again, jerk that sucker out. Bleed pretty good. But didn't tear it open. Jump to the back. Pull my rear light off. Whip me a snake, tore my light up. Pissed snake off. Jump back to the front deck. Got trap rod. Snagged the snake, hit the release button on the reel. Cut the line and went down the lake. I think I still finished third. But I was ready to go home after that.

Here is one for you:undo all the straps but forget the front safety cable makes one really bad noise.And the driver doesn't even know whats going on. Priceless

almost everybody has forgotten to put the plug in the boat ,but my champion has 3 holes, livewell in and out and the one the plug goes into, I put the plug in the wrong hole,needless to say when I got back from the parking lot my passenger at the time was my girlfriend,now my wife anounces to the world that my boat has about 500 gallons of water in it and was sinking,we still laugh about that ............ SAME EXACT thing happened to me. It was filling up with water so I jumped out and put it in the livewell hole, I kept thinking it should have bilged all the water out by now!! LMAO!

Just a few weeks ago. Get up at 4 a.m. Friday to head from Mount Vernon to Tyler to prefish a tourney. Pick up partner in Quitman, head to Lake Tyler. Fish all day, leave boat at a buddies house in Lindale so I don't have to drag it all the way back and forth. Drop partner off in Quitman, head home to MV. Go to sleep at about 1130pm. Wake up at 3am Saturday, pick up partner in Quitman at 4, pick up boat in Lindale, start heading to Lake Tyler. Stop for gas and realize I forgot my wallet. No money for truck gas, boat gas, entry fee, no fishing license. Turn around, go to Lake Winnsboro, park for an hour waiting on the sun to come up to fish.
And several times, tie lure on, bite tag end off, throw lure in water, realize I cut the wrong line, lose lure.
