Only fishing 2 hours and filled the cooler. Limit of hybrids and sandies. Not sure how many sandies I caught but had a total of 18 hybrids. All on Sassy shads in 4-12ft of water.

yes basscat, they are good to eat. Some will say you have to cut the red strip out but it is just a personal preference.

Thanks we went to a fish fry one time and I remember them saying it was Sand bass some was good and some was mushy mess don't know if it was the cook or the fish hopefully I will be able to catch a hybrid or two I wanna try to grill a couple filets

if it was mushy it was the cook. I grill mine alot as well, I just make sure they are browned on both sides, if they are then they wont be mushy

I actually bought a deal from BPS you put your fillets in it and close it's suppose to hold them together and allow you to flip it whitout tearing it up figure this is gonna be my first rodeo grilling fish so I should probally use this first till I get the hang of it

Tony has been killin the fish on cooper. That man has to be the spawn of hybirds.

Fish have been either on top of around the mian lake humps. I have seen fishing pushing big shad. I cast to them but nothing. Let it fall and hang on.
