Odd question I know, but when I'm fishing worms and jigs, I end up gooseing myself in the ribs on the hookset. When cranking, I just tuck the rod and sweep, and it's not bad on the ribs. Anyone else have this problem. Maybe I need to change my hookset, its football jig time thumb

yes! I have a hickeyed left side. Ever since I went with a longer liter rod with split grip for worm fishing. Not exactly sure why though. It only happens on my T7 Falcon Cara Reactions. The but is a little sharp on the end. Maybe I should round it off with sand paper.

The only time it actually bothered me was the one time on Fork where for two days we just whacked the heck out of 7,8 and 9 lb bass. My ribs hurt and I had to move my rod on the 3rd day.

solarplex does. I have a bad habit of burying the rod but into where my chest and abs meet right before I set.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one that has this problem!

This would explain the odd little red mark I have on my side. It might not be ringworm afterall... LOL
