Bought some last year and did not have any luck with them. Went out Sunday morning and was not having much luck with my normal colored jigs, so I put one one and got a good sized crappie right away. Ended up with ten. The only problem I had was the perch would pull the tails off them, caught four of them also. This was at Lake Proctor with pretty stained to muddy colored water.

I tried some out last summer. We were tearing them up on minnows and I switched to the gulp minnows (the small crappie sized one) and they would not bite them. They are not better than the real thing.

I've used them and did good. When they get beat up, pinch the tail off and use it for tipping jigs. As with anything, the thing that's attached to the handle will make the difference. (You).
