snagged- check out the bass pro shops online and see if those snap rings work for ya. Also check the crimp sleeves. let me know If I need to get them and send them to ya. I pass Bass Pro everyday to and from work.

good- I will send you this 300 # leader I had on the Penn 6/0 and you can make drop rigs with it. I think it affected the AJ bite. I only had about 3 bites the whole time- then switched to 80# and caught my keeper. Dont have confidence in the 300#. Plus thaat is my backup reel now. Doesnt need a topshot- if need be I can take the topshot off the damaged reel.

Which type of drop rig do you want? The 300# make a very good grouper leader, it's thick enough to take the abrasion from barnacles and still land a fish.
