Shallow on wind blown points. That's where they were this morning.

+1 Yep. Throw anything that imitates a shad or minnow, go early in the morning - best time to kill 'em. Also, try fishing with minnows on 2/0 tru-turn hook. Doesn't matter if minnow are dead or alive.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting on the water looking like a darn fool.

I went fishing yesterday in the hurricane force winds lol. And proved a theory.I could not get to where I wanted to fish do to the winds so I fished up and around the Little Elm branch of the lake. You can go just about anywhere on the lake and catch fish. Like stated before hit wind blown banks. I caught over 100 fish yesterday morning by casting within inches of the shore. Fish are pushed up very shallow do to the shad spawn. Even and unexperienced angler can catch a ton of fish right now.
