Gasoline is $1.31 in CC and coming down...another good reason to get down there (Corpus area). Also, the boats are coming in loaded with B.fin tuna....hope it holds up for The Trip!! Big reds are being caught in the deep channels and surf piers on squid and fresh, cut finger mullet (cut'em even if they are alive - really). The big ones (40-50") have been hitting between midnite and 5am (depending on your location), with a lot of big gafftops, stingrays and blacktip shark between schools. Boaters are drifting the channels or anchor on points where channels intersect. End of jetty has been good when it's calm enough to hold. Hope this helps a little - if you're headed that way. This front should really heat up the migration and start kicking the flounder out, as no real significant numbers of flounder or large black drum yet - X your fingers!!!! Tight Lines.

When I was there this past weekend I paid $1.18 per gallon in Fulton at the HEB off of 35. I wish it was this cheap up here in Dallas.

Wow, that's cheap...just got back from 4 days in PA and now it's $1.23 all over Corpus....not too bad. I agree, too bad it's not that all over the state.
