Is it just me or does Fork seem like it has more sand bass this year? I hope they don't hurt the large mouth by eating up tons of bait fish. Let's hear you're thoughts?

Last summer my husband and I were in Mustang and we came across about a 5 acre school of sandies... I think they are in Fork to stay

Thats what happens when jackwagons get too lazy to drive 15 miles further to Tawakoni. Its a shame but nothing we can do about it except fill the livewells and have a fish fry.

They've been in there for years, nothing new.

Them big bass live to eat bar fish Bar fish are yellow bass....sandies are white bass. I don't believe lmb will eat sandies (too spiney) and that is the trouble. No predator for sandies and they eat all the shad. Not good for Fork at all!!! TWPD should remove any limit on sandies for Fork, and let us clean them out as quickly as possible.

ITPWD not gonna lift any limits, what they could do is stock Fork with rainbow trout in the winter, let the big girls eat well through the winter and early spring, maybe even get some of those 15-16 lb sows up to about 18-19 lbs (and beyond)...
