Pilot Knoll was on fire again this morning! 47 Sandies and 2 Hybrids (20" and 22") 80% of the Sandies were in the 13"-16" with a few wannabies thrown in.
All caught and released from the bank. Specifically, the longest point to the left (closest to 35E) Spawning Shad everywhere! Caught on 3/8oz Kastmaster with upgraded Mustad KVD #2 trebles, 20LB Power Pro on a Shimano 7' CompreCPS-X70MB w/Shimano Sustain 3000FE. Polymar knot:)

Thanks again. I'm going to be fishing this weekend. if you see a couple of goof balls on a john boat with way to much electronics on it, then holler. I may try this spot. PM me and I will tell you some other great sand bass spots....i appreciate your posts....

Fished with Kittywomper, Skunkedalot and his wife this AM at the same spot with the same technique. We did not catch 138 fish this morning as Lewisville is al fished out.

It's crazy how fished out LL is. I only caught 137 with my dad on Sunday. Too bad it's so slow right now.

Man those were caught from the bank? Then why do I have a boat which is a hole in the water I throw my
Money into!!! Very nice catch. I went to lewisville 1 time last year and caught one if my bigger hybrids if the year. Seems like a great lake not all fished out.
