we are leaving mon. morning 6/19 for Port A and I am having some second thoughts on going out on the Scat Cat. Been hearing lots of negative comment about this boat.I have been on this boat many times and have been fairly to well satisfied each time, but it has been 5-6 years since I have been out on this boat. I want to make sure my son and father catch fish and have a good time. We are booked to go on a 11.5 hour trip Tues.and Thurs. what do the experts think? Should we try another boat one day or cancell and reschedule with another boat. We only want 12 hour trips. Any thoughts, comments or recomendations will be appreciated.

Will they let you take live bait on this boat? If not what kind of frozen bait should i take? I want to try and catch an amberjack along with some other tasty critters.

Ive seen others take bait in a small container, I do know, they had cigar minnows for sale at the dock. I usally used their bait [squid] to catch bait fish, then use the cut bait for the rest of the trip. Good luck, an let us know how you done.
