I live in central Texas and was thinking about fishing the Rockport area this month. But with all the run-off from the recent rains, what does the freashwater do to the bay system, near the middle of the Texas coast? In some area, there were as much as 41 inches!!I know the water will be arriving near Rockport and Corpus Christi. Any help? THANK YOU!

I would fish the east shoreline areas as a start. The Aransas, Guadalupe and other rivers will make a lot of the bays too fresh. Don't know how bad Aransas bay will be around Rockport. San Antonio Bay will most likely be fresh water for a while. Might want to look closer to the pass at Port A area. Going to Baffin and the Uppper Laguna Tuesday and Wednesday. Will let know how it goes there.
