They look great in the package.
But since I'm not a pro and fish on a working man's budget, are they worth the big bucks they cost?

not when you can buy Academy H2O that look the same. I work on a small budget... If I had lots of expendible money, I would probably buy LC.

I buy bandits, normans, and h20's...some guys think that lucky craft really makes a difference on tougher days and they may. For that reason I will probably end up buying one or two just to see for myself. But I don't think Lucky Craft will be my main crankbait just because of the price. That just my opinion.

LC are great I have a few that I picked up on clearance, but H20 I find are the best for the price. I am like Ronnie I work on a very small budget if any sometimes. I just bought some of H20 Rattle trap type baits with Owner hooks and they look amazing. They were $4.79 a piece.

There are some models that are worth the $$$ but out of the 40-50 lucky crafts I have, I'd say I have only about 10 that I really wouldn't want to give away. The rest haven't been that special.

They are great crankbaits. I save them for tournament day. I figure the color I want with H2O's and then use the LC's during a tournament. I wait for the two sales a year and use a gift card.

The Pointers are the only LC baits that I've found justify the money.
The BDS squarebills are good, but I proved to myself this last weekend that KVD squarebills work just as well, for 1/4th the price.

Ever used a Sammy? Walking the dog is effortless. for sure. I like the pointers as well. the suspending wobble in the water is killer.

There is definitely a difference in the lucky craft baits. I feel like you get a much more consistent product from bait to bait. I can pull one out of the package and pretty much bet on the fact that it will run straight and I wont have to make any changes to it. With alot of cheaper crankbaits you need to change the hooks to some better ones as soon as you buy the thing. Tournaments or not nobody wants to lose that giant because of bad hooks. That being said it definitely sucks to lose a 15 dollar crankbait but if you really look at it you dont lose all that many. There is no substitute for good equipment.
