I'm shopping a new one what are you guys using? I see they have a bunch of "ratings" but I don't get what they mean. Amp Hours ect... Any help appreciated.

i use the ones from academy. great warranty if they do go bad they will exchange it no questions asked.

The more Amps the better. Make sure it's a deep cycle battery.

x2 I use the Stowaway Deep Cycle Tournament battery... They run you over $100, but Academy took mine back after 2 years because they know Stowaway will reimburse them... Phenomenal batteries if you keep a tender on them...

Amps are good if you use it to start your motor but if it's for your trolling motor you want the highest amps per hour you can find

Yes its a trolling motor ONLY battery... Well lights also... Its on my Jon boat... Also yes same question what's the best tender.. I really appreciate the help fellas

they are in a green box we have them at pepboys mr* if you want one I can get you a good deal on them just let me know

Is that the one you can just leave pluged in when the battery is not in use and it will maintain the charge and not run the risk of it going kabloowie or otherwise ruining the battery. Cause if so, then yes I want one, man.

I have 4 different ones.... Just make sure they're float-mode type chargers...
