didnt see a place for intros, so i will put it here. i love bass, crappie fishing. i reside near livingston, texas. i have been fishing most of my life,,,,63 years young. i enjoy harley davidson motorcycles.....this looks like a great site. i own a company called "aquatic harvesting service" i have worked with tpwd in removing vegetation via mechanical means for many years. i am willing to help anyone with vegetation problems in there lakes. i hate grass carp and hate chemicals even worse.....i am not trying to spam or promote my company, as i havent been pursuing it very heavyly as of late. i mostly do custom paint and air brushing on bikes and carts, and build custom motorcycles........ i am very interested in saving our lakes vegetation tho....i am on the board of directors of T.B.B.U. and one of our objectives is to stop the introduction of crass carp and chemicals into the waters we use. anyway, i am happy to have found this site and hope to become a better fisherman by being a member. thanks chuck

very true.....but too much is nearly as bad as not enough!!! it can choke out sunlight which is good for habitat....and a healthy fish population.

Chuck. Your expertise in vegetation control will be an excellent addition to the forum.

As a senior citizen, bass whacker and Harley owner, I too, welcome you to the zoo. Well...I'm at least old. Glad to have you Chuck. Yessir this forum is unlike most I've ever seen. Real good folks here. The amount of fishing knowledge shared here is phenominal. Plus I can always get a chuckle from here if needed, or an answer to just about any question. And it is not burdened with trolls except for a few who rarely slip in and out of the "Bunker" and "Off Topic" sections (both of which I truly love!)....of course we have a few Commies... a few Bible thumpers... and a fair population of general rabble-rousers... Wouldn't want it any other way. I enjoy the exchange and banter. And when it's all said and done, I think 99% of these folks would step up to help any of the other members who were in need. I've seen it many times on the TFF.
