right now, i use flourocarbon on all three of my spinning reels. but im getting frustrated because i have had TONS of line twist and they have all been strung up by bass pro shops. is there a way to stop line twists? or does braided line handle line twists and knots better?

10# Power-Pro braid with Seaguar InvisX leader, use a double uni to tie leader to main line

Make sure after you cast flip the bail back over by hand instead of cranking it. That will cut out a bunch

Doing all of the above will help. Eventually you will have to either restring or stretch out what you have on there. For me it is pretty much every trip if I am using straight flouro. Braided with the swivel works best, but on tournament day I am wanting straight flouro. But thats just me.

Best to string em yourself.

When spooling a spinning reel sit the spool on the ground to where the line is comming off counterclockwise and keep good tension on the line with your rod holding hand. Use a mono or floro backing, tie the double uni to your braid then another double uni to your leader. The backing will keep- the braid from digging into itself!

I fish spinning rigs a lot and have created a habit that helps me. I use 10lb Seaguar and always close the bail by hand, as soon as I close it I grab the line and tug it tight before I turn the spool. Seems to help and I do it now without giving it a thought.
I still get twist and when I do I just free spool the line behind the boat as you slow troll with no bait on it. This will take most of the twist out.
Also when a fish is pulling drag do not crank the spool against him, that really twist the line.
Hope this helps.

My thoughts exactly....strip off the line with nothing tied to it when you're under way in your boat....drag this for just a bit and when you reel your line back on it will be twist free.
