I am heading to orlando for 2 1/2 weeks later this month and of course taking the boat for some fishing between trips to disney and the beach. I got in the mail my two hot spot maps of both Toho lakes and doing my own research of local fishing areas.
If you have been there any advise? Mainly how easy/safe are the lake to run? They are shallow but looks like mainly shallow grass with no stumps?
With the gas prices as they are most of the other nearby lakes Kissimmee, winter haven, "walk-in-water" ect are pretty much out of the picture.

Jeesh brother, the three places you listed ary the only places I've fished down there, sorry. I never saw any stumps, those lakes are just big shallow bowls full of weeds.

Swim a watermelon red Gambler fluke with a lighttt weight.

Topwaters are killer over grass

Wacky worms are great over grass

Flip a 1-1 1/2 oz beaver or brush hog in thick mats and on edges.

A carolina rigged trick worm on shell beds are great during the spring but that bite may have passed already with all the warm weather
