Real windy but not cold. Water temp in the mid 70s and the wind was white capping 85% of the waves and increased as the day went on. Big bite in the AM was on and my buddy boated over 50 fish but I'll let him tell the story. Here are my 3 bigest on stick baits. Pics don't do these fish justice!

This was the windiest I have seen Fayette, and it blew all day and all night. Bite changed from Friday evening to Saturday morning to Saturday afternoon. Did find them but it took some time and perserverance. Was very slow form midnight to 7 am. FF had the advantage of having a paddle system and the big fish proved how valuable that piece of equipment is. Final tally was 50 fish, but not as big as FF's. Chronological account of the trip in pictures.

1st fish of the trip

Fish at sunset

A night bass with some of the critters that bring in the talapia that bring in the bass

Bass with "birth marks"

A nice one with FF looking for the big ones

Number 50 on the last cast of the day. All bass fought very hard which made for a really fun adventure.

I haven't been on Fayette in a windier day. Don't know if it was the wind or Easter holiday, but there weren't that many folks on the lake.

Caught a 40# flathead on bass tackle eeks that must have been fun. How long was the fight?
