should I go for blacks or just stick with white bass and crappie?

Sandies are biting well under the birds. Black bass fishing has been good, but I agree twith the earlier poster. The tournament folks will cover up most of the good spots.

Was out there a couple weeks ago and caught prolly 20 blacks. C Rigs and shallow cranks. Big one was right at 6lbs.

we went out in 20 mph wind that day and tried for black bass for about an hour. after getting beat up by the wind, decided to tie up under the bridge and fish for crappie. in the end, we caught 50 crappie, 1 black bass, 1 sandie, and 1 drum in 2 hours between 3 of us. was pretty fun but even tied to the 3rd pylon we still have 1 foot waves that threw us around pretty good... might head out this weekend just for the heck of it.
