ive broken both. but they are square bills...it happens.

have broken a couple H2O's taken them back exchanged no problem. Have not broken any KVD 1.5 or 2.5. Have at least a dozen of each brand.

I broke one right out of the package the other day. Maybe a half dozen casts, didn't bump the bottom or anything that I know of.
Last night I was retying and noticed a crack across the bill of one and it broke with a litle flex and then fell into two pieces from the seam that runs from the back to the front of the bill itself. All 3 peices are in the box ready to take back. I have taken 6 back and Academy replaced them no questions asked. I have yet to break a bill on the bigger, deeper running model of square bill.
Gonna buy strike kings and xcaliburs this time.

I hope this is just a batch issue, broke a medium dive crank on sat. On a hook set, thought the fish was swimming toward the boat till it got closer to the boat and found only thing on the other side was the bill of the crank. Looked like it just pulled out of the crank.....no body attached or in site. Bought couple to replace, hope not to have a repeat.

I've broke countless H20 squarebilled cranks. Seems like the bills are not as heavy duty as other brands. Still a good bait though.
