We are purchasing a new 22 ft. Xpress H22B-SS center-console boat. I know....it's not your traditional fiberglass bass boat, but we need a center console for some other types of fishing we enjoy. However, the vast majority of the fishing we will be doing is for bass.

For those who aren't aware.....the H22B-SS is the same exact hull as Xpress' 22 ft. bass boat, so it will fish the same (large front and rear decks and great rod boxes).

We are trying to figure out what options/accessories we want to add, and already have a list with the following:

- 6 ft. Power Pole (should we do an 8 ft instead??)
- Lowrance HDS 10 w/ Structure Scan
- Minn Kota Riptide 80 lb thrust trolling motor
- On-board charger
- Yamaha 200hp SHO outboard
- Double axle trailer breaks

What else can you guys recommend?

Thanks.

I would go with the 8 footers for your power pole. Maybe a little bigger trolling motor? I'm not sure it just sounds a little small for a 22' boat.

8 ft pole for sure, and think about an upgrade to at least a 101 thrust trolling motor, i dont think an 80 would even move my 22 ft triton

Well.....this boat is only 1,200 lbs but maybe a larger trolling motor should be considered.

I have a 20ft ranger and that 80lb trolling motor pulls it just fine. ( And I fish in the wind) Your boat is aluminum and a lot lighter than mine.

Does anyone have pictures that will show the height of the 6' vs 8' Power Pole? I am worried about it being too tall and interfering with casting....
