I haven't lost a fish yet And if I do its my fault for not tying hook on the right way
And seriously if you tournament fish spending 10 bucks for 5 hooks that are extremely great quality well I wont complain about the price So the question is "are they worth it "
YES !!!!!!

I like them but have had a few problems with points rolling as mentioned above. I just check them ever so often. They are by far the sharpest hook I've ever used. Doesn't take much power to get a good hook set. With that sharp point baits like a senko don't last long. Senkos are so soft the hook tends to chew them up pretty quick.

I have not had any problems with an owner or a gammy, don't really see the point in paying twice the price even if they are supposed to be the best money can buy.

Points bend on all hooks if your snagging every branch and being an idiot with your tackle. If I pulled a hook out and tied it on new every time, these trokars are a solid hook, anyone who says different is just a homer. I have used all 3 trokars, owners, and gama's. I think think the gammys are the thinnest and easiest to straighten( but that is still really hard to do) and the trokars the strongest and sharpest but they are more expensive.
I carry all 3 for different applications, if your interested in trokars I say get a pack of in your desired size and try em', it's 10 bucks, Gage for yourself what the price difference is.
When it comes down to it I think they charge more because of advertising and getting their product to market, which they have done well in, all 3 companies have a great product.

I get a kick out of how many folks I see saying the points roll on Trokars. I have fished them since they hit the market and have been through a couple of hundred Trokar Flipping hooks and have seen 2 points rolled. Thats it. I wouldn't hardly call that a problem. I know Many others with the same experience with them.

I have set the hook with a poor hook set in some bony areas with no problem. Just hard to get out. I haven't had any problems, and will keep using them.

I use both Trokar and Owner. Trokar is sharper but are both quality hooks. I have never had a point roll on me. It comes down to what you want to pay. The Owner and Gammy guys say its too high and the people using Tournament Choice hooks say the Gammy and Owners are too high.
