does anyone know what fishing is like at turtle creek in dallas, and do you have to have special permit to fish there other than fishing liscence?

The best chance you have is in the university park pond by the court house, tons of blue cats and some tiny bass, nothing over 14 inches. That's your best shot for action. I have fished further south around Lemmon and caught a couple bass. Nothing special there's a good spot for buffalo and another pond for koi along turtle creek, don't know if you're interested in fishing for those.
