The carp have been set free just like the snake head fish. Two fish that have no natural enemies here so no check and balance system. I figure it is only a matter of time before we see them. Right now those carp are in the Illinois river but they have almost made it into the great lakes. Bad news when they make it there. They will definetly change the fishing. There is a redneck fishing tourney there and they catch them with dip nets. They almost all are wearing helmets for obvious reasons. Bad fish that just takes over an area. If you like to fish for them then you should be happy.

They are in the Muddy Boggy Creek and the Red River in south east Oklahoma. One of my co-workers had a run in with them last year. They jumped in her boat and scared they half to death.

Thats a new one on me I have heard of it but never seen it looks like it hurts. I thought fishing was relaxing but on the other hand I guess you could get good at fighting them off.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!
