Has anyone else had any issues with these rods breaking? I purchased the 6'9" MH as a weightless worm rod. It snapped about 10" from the tip on the first fish I set the hook on. I thought no problem, it was probably damaged at the store or mabey just a defective rod. I took it back to BPS and they exchanged it. Well being the smart guy that I am, I went ahead and purchased 3 more. Long story short, I snapped three of the four rods this weekend while fishing Bob Sandlin. All while setting the hook on fish under 3lbs. Not using braid or flouro. Just regular old 12 and 15# Big Game. Any one elses snapping like toothpicks?

I have four of these rods I fish with on multiple occasions. Not a single issue yet. I am actually very impressed.

There have been a number of posts in the rod & reel section as well as the bass fishing section about the veritas having breaking issues. I'm sure a search could turn up some decent results. Long story short: folks seem to like the rods, but a break such as yours isn't very uncommon.
