Love of fishing has nothing to do with it. This year ive been soaking wet more than the last 10 years put together. Ive fell out of the boat twice and took a wave over the bow that almost took me out of the boat. #1 fell out of the boat trying to get a rod that fell in. Got the rod but i was cold bc it was January. #2 Partner hit a stump and i fell half way out do to i landed on a stump with my ribs. Yah that hurt for almost 2 weeks. #3 Just yesterday on Roberts we were goin across the lake when we speared a wave. Thank God for the second console bc i would of definitely been washed out of the boat. To give you an idea the pedestal up front was gone. Ive heard of bad luck but i definitely take the cake this year. All i can do is look back and laugh. How bout you guys, any of you having these kind of problems?

Note to self:

Stay out of whatever boat Therealdeal is in. eeks

I fell in the boat and knocked myself cold, but luckily haven't gone for a swim yet. Just a matter of time I guess.

You souldn't be punishing yourself like that. You guys should be going with me where it is 80 degrees in Jan. and catching 100 bass a day with 50 over 5 lbs.

I have yet to go in...but I have witnessed a couple of family members and one of my fishing partners do it. It is absolutely freaking hillarious. I laugh on and off for days over it.

I would fall out of my first boat at least once a year. The people in the boat with me thought it was funny too.

The wife dumped me overboard at Falcon. Windy as all get out. I tell her to start the big motor and keep us out of the brush while I get the trolling motor in. She starts the Mercury, slams it in reverse, one second there is a real pretty red bass boat under my feet, the next second only water. Happened so fast I didn't even have time to react. Then she slams it in forward and almost ran over me. It's a good thing I love that old woman. smile
