Ken thanks for taking time to respond, much appreciated. I will call back when you open this morning. I do understand how over-whelming business can be, and one unhappy person can make an mess of what you work so hard to accomplish with the internet in this day & age. I have heard NOTHING but good things about Boerne Marine, so I was taken aback when I hadn't spoken to you. I apologize, will try again.

Thanks

Geez..alright it is not far if you live/work at I-10 and 1604, but it takes almost an hour to get there from my office near 281 and 410. Either way I'm glad to have some place in the SA area to take my boat to if need be. I guess I was spoiled by living in Austin and having everything close.

Just an FYI. Buddy of mine had motor problems last week before BassChamps and Ken and his team jumped on the issue and had them up and running in three days. Motor ran great. It was a really nice to hear a shop that understands the needs of tournament fishermen. Nice Job!

I am sure they worked overtime to get it out. The message is that they went the extra mile to get it out and did a nice job. Seems there is always someone who looks for the negative in even positive comments.

I dont even own a Skeeter and the service I have recieved from them has been fantastic, especially from Ken. You'd swear I bought my boat from him, thats how good a care I have recieved. I am selling my boat, but when the day comes that I buy another one, they will once again have my business. Good people for sure!

I agree that your post was kind smart azz. If you want to go to the front of the line pay more, fishing the Bass Champs isn't like a dinky little old bass club tourney. They (Boerne Marine) will get more work from those hardcore fisherman than those fellas that go fishing once a month. Especially in boat sells. Not trying to be a smartazz myself but thats the truth. Some customers help pay your bills and some customers pay the bills and put money in your bank account. So far it seems they are trying to help both kinds of customers, heck some shops won't even service your boat if you didn't buy it from them.

As y'all know Ken has all my work.

My boat is a Champion and he treats me and my 7 yr old boat like I just purchased it from him.

Wonder who I will buy my next boat from?

Grout-scout if you think i was a smart arse that's your opinion. As far as the guys from bass champs paying more times or more money or whatever your trying to say is plain stupid. I don't fish bass champ-s but i do fish a dinky club tourneyment every month along with fishing 2 to 3 times a week so i would feel like my boat is just as important as a guy that fishes bass champs 4-5 times a year. I asked a simple question if you or anyone else took it wrong so be it.

O.K. let me explain a little more in depth for you. Most of the guys fishing Bass Champs & larger tournaments buy new boats every 1 to 2 years. Those fools are the ones that help boat dealerships stay in business. You think car dealers make more from service or sales? Hint those dealerships wouldn't be so fancy if it was the service dept. Told you I wasn't trying to be a smart azz.

You may not be a smart azz but your way of thinking is not smart at all. The profit from selling boats is minimal but the 10 hour service the 50 hour service the 100 hour service that's where they make there money unless your a big chain like bps what your saying is simply outrageous. They have to pay skeeter 3% for every boat on the yard. Then when they sell one skeeter gets most of that then the bank then whatever piece of the pie is left the dealer gets.Do some research before you speak. Never said i wasn't being a smart azz bow_down
