To be honest, What was he driving through that was so bad??? Trees and grass and bushes. Sure it will put scratches and scuffs but those will buff out in 10 minutes. They will not chip the gelcoat or hurt the motor. You should see some of the elite series guys boats after a year!! Was at Bass Pro last year and they had Edwin Evers boat for sale. Put it this way. It was literally leaking lower unit fluid onto the floor and they were still trying to sell it. I asked the salesman about the leak and he said " oh it's supposed to do that"!!! Dont think i've been back since!

Im thinking he would have been in for a heck of a surprise had a snake fallen out of one of those trees and down onto the deck of his 4 wheel drive boat!
