I was out this weekend and my motor seemed to be running decent. I left 1 spot and got on it very hard, wide open. After just a few seconds the motor cut out and made 1 beeo of a alarm and jumped right back to full speed then did this same thing again. Anybody have any ideas what is going on??

Whenit cuts out, it is like someone slammed on the brakes, then it jumps back up to wide open, makes for quite a ride!!!

It doesn't have that many hours since i last did that but will give it a try. This problem only occurs at W O T.

Thats the reason a lot of guys are going to the seperator with a see through bottom and quick drain.

It sounds like you may be hitting your rev. limiter. That will beep and cut back the throttle. What rpms does it run at wot?

WOT rpm is about 5700. I don't think it's hitting the rev limiter, it doesn't bang out, it falls flat on it's face for about 1-2 seconds and then jumps back up to full throttle then repeats the whole thing.

Rev limiter...5,750 is where it's hitting in.

Try running WFO trimmed down and see if it does it again, then trim up to hit that same rpm number, you'll see where it kicks in.
