While on a guide trip on Lake Fork Saturday 4/30/11 I had client Myron Sims catch a pound and a half bass on a Yellow Magic, and while he was reeling the bass in a 9 pound bass ate the bass! We were in a school of actively feeding bass at the time,Myron had 28+ bass with his top 5 well over 30 pounds! What a Day,I will never forget! Here's Myrons first bass on the yellow magic,,,Thanks Myron,Maurice and BASA![imgage]URL=http://img155.imageshack.us/i/1010896.jpg/][/URL]

Wow that's awesome! I've done that with a perch on my daughter's snoopy rod but never with another bass. I may have to start fishing with baby bass now! :0

Did the 9 knock the 1.5 off of the bait? That's a cool story.

Fishing w/ spoons in Nov, I've had what I knew to be barfish on and, half way through the fight, felt a larger tug and ended up catching 6 and 7 lb bass. I know the bass attacked the barfish, but I still haven't caught one that inhales the barfish while it was on my spoon.

It's cool that is happened in shallow water, with bass being the 2 primary parties.

Cool story, Tony.

Never had a bass try to eat a bass but I have had numerous bass swallow my barfish as I was reeling them up. Two over were over NINE. LOL

Ken, did the bass actually have the barfish in their mouths, or did they knock the barfish off of the hook? Not to hijack Tony's post and certainly not doubting Tony's story - I've always been curious about the bass eating another fish while the "other fish" is hooked.

Alton as Myron was reeling the small bass in his rod doubled over,I thought to myself that is strange. Then the Big Bass came up out of the water shaking its head as the small bass went flying in the air about 10 feet from the boat with the yellow magic still in its mouth.Myron,Maurice and I had our mouths wide open and said to one another did you see that???,,,LOL eeksTrue story with 2 witness'es just wish they were on TFF too! huh
