What kinds of fluid can I use?
Will power steering fluid or transmission fluid work?

i think they make thier own fluid for those. seastar hydraulic steering fluid.

I am in kind of a bind right now and am looking for something just to get me across the lake.
I don't have any seastar fluid and am looking for an alternative.

SeaStar manual says that Dexron II ATF can be used in an emergency. But I wouldn't leave it in there for a long time without flushing the system and using the right stuff.
