Wall to wall fish today...probably released near 100 sandies Could not get anyone that wanted to fish...perfect day with very little wind.

Sounds like a good day... I was out there, but was not hunting sandies... It sho nuff was a purty day though.

If TPWD would stock that lake with Stripers or Hybrids, it would be my new home lake.

I second that vote! Bur Bruce says their are NO plans for either in the fore-seeable future. Too Bad! I'm 1.25 miles from Buck Creek ramp and sure burn up alot of gas driving to Tawakoni.

It doesn't go much below normal pool from what I can recall. I guess TPWD wants it to be a premire crappie lake?

Yeah well that aint working out so well either. LOL!
Example: Tawakoni has always been a better Crappie lake than Roberts in my opinion for size for sure and numbers to (again from my experience).

Now if i could get some GPS coordinants for that spot i would be much indebted to you sir. I have been catching good numbers on SB Pasture up until this past week. And yesterday those fish were gone all together. Any tips on where to go tomorrow would be much appreciated. Thanks guys..............brandon

We were finding the birds on Wednesday, but the wind kept blowing us off the fish...Thursday looked like a dream day and I hop tomorrow (Tuesday) will be as good. Light winds, sunny. All we have to do is find the birds and drift through them!!!
