I personally use DK's because I have had better luck and bigger fish with it. I have caught some nice cats with CJ;s but Danny Kings is working best for me. You can buy both Danny Kings and CJ's at academy.

I fish 11 rods out of my boat, and sometimes I'll start with up to 4 different baits just to see which they like today.
the winner seems to vary day by day. I've had my best luck with:
1. shad 2. sureshot 3. CJ's 4. DK or Secret 7
Some days they'll all work. Some days they just prefer one of those.
That said, I dont have enough solid data to say with confidence that one is better than all others.
My preference is shad, because I'm not scared of accidentally touching shad. I once threw away a shirt because it got sureshot on it.

Well I have used Danny Kings for years but now they have new owners and they sell a different looking and smelling DK's punch bait. They say that this is the "original" mix. I was at Academy yesterday and opened up a can of CJ's and it looks and smells like Danny Kings used to. I have a special place in my heart for Danny Kings since I have caught most of the catfish in my life on it but I bought a can of CJ's to try.
There is no such thing as "too much" fishing.

I havent done any good with Dk's in the last year - I guess if they changed it that explains why. Think I'll try some CJ's in the morning.

So the $29.99 for one gallon + $12 shipping is really $42 per gallon and free shipping? I have never bought any before so I don't know what the original price was.
