Has anyone been able to contact Boerne Marine for ANYTHING? I've called the last two days and spoke with the lady that answers the phone and left messages for Ken to call me back. Yesterday I called at 9:45 a.m. and again at 2:00. He left me a message at 5:48, 12 minutes BEFORE they closed. I called back this morning, same thing, "I'll take a message and have him call you back." It's 2:45, and quite honestly I'm thinking of buying new trolling motor instead of spending my money there. Don't get me wrong, I understand people are busy and have a business to run, BUT how busy can Borne Marine be? Heck I called Bass Cat and talked to three different people and they helped me figure out a fix over the phone. I'm sure they're busier than Borne Marine.
Sorry I'm venting, and fed up. Is there ANY other place OTHER than Boerne Marine or Waypoint that works on trolling motors near S.A.? Heck at this point, I'd take the guy whose cousin once worked at a boat shop in Alabaster as a custodian.

Unless you know of any other place that sounds like Borney, Boerne, Borne Marine, yes.

Man I hate to hear that! I have been in there several times and Ken has been so freaking nice that he makes me want to spend money there, that does not happen very often. I havent had anything worked on yet because I keep getting other repair bills in the way first. They seem to be doing pretty well, kinda suprised me. I hope he calls you and gets your business.

Think Big Hooker gets the point some people jost have to be smart arsess to feel justified in this world. As for Boerne Marine i dealt with the same thing don't know if it's the small staff or what but it sure gets frustrating.

I have a buddy that swears by them, and with the demise of Anchor, I want to support any local shop I can. I did call back for the heck of it around 5:30, and Jim told me Ken went to San Antonio. What gives?! I will try Master Marine, if all else fails, I guess I will just buy a new Fortrex. Thanks Skeet4Man, Big Hooker was probably having fun, but not a good time. I should go to trolling motor university and open my own shop in the San Antonio area, seems like the market is wide open!

Actually getting in touch with Ken seems to be a task. I dropped my trolling motor off today to have a steering cable replaced. I never saw Ken, so just wrote down what was wrong. I wish that place was closer to SA though. It's a pretty good haul out to Boerne.
Where in the hell is Master Marine? BTW..its a piece of cake to fix the innards of the trolling motor. Just buy new parts and throw 'em in. I replaced all the electronics in mine, I just dont want to tackle the steering cable.

Master Marine is on 1604 west bound past Bandera road, just can't remember which exit it is. But it's before 151 for sure.

Hey guys I have had a ton of work done at Kens and have been very satisfied.
They are new and they are swamped as it is the place to get great work at a fair price.
The difference between men & boys is the price of their toys.

Hey Guys. First thing, I am so thankful and grateful for all of your support and the overwellming business you have been giving me. To my knowledge this is the first time there has been an issue with either Boerne Sports & Outdoors or Boerne Marine. I am so sorry that I have not returned someone's calls. I am extremely busy and do spend most of my day working in the shop as well. I try and call everyone back in the evenings at least. If anyone has an immediate need, if you will just tell Sharon (the lady that works for me as my assistant) that is is urgent that you speak to me right now, she will come and get me. As far as other ASC service centers, there is one in Round Rock and Jerry's in Del Rio, will treat you right as well. Again, I am so sorry for the oversight, it wasn't intentional. Thanks to you for all of your kind comments. Ken Parker Boerne Marine 830-816-2130 wk 210-254-4929 mo

tried taking my boat there for a little problem i had while passing through...left before i could get a quote out of em'...but you have to understand how busy these shops can get this time of year (there's not a big enough market in texas to run marine shops like auto shops year around)...so, from my experience i completely understand and wouldn't hesitate to stop in again if need be. i have a friend who runs a shop and he walked me through it.
"closer to SA though. It's a pretty good haul out to Boerne"...boerne is practically part of San Antonio.

It has been unbelievably crazy. Watching Anchor Marine die so slowly over the past couple of years. Just didn't realize there was so much work in the San Antonio area. We have been extremely blessed with all of this work, but it obviously has come with a price. We want to do it right all of the time so if one person isn't happy with our operation, we take it very serious and want to improve. Thanks, Ken Parker
