Went to EM with a couple of buddies from out of state. One of them wanted to catfish so we did for a few hours caught about 20 in shallow water. No big ones . Went looking for sandbass looked shallow found nothing. Looked on some humps and deep points . Fish were real scattered. The high light was an auggie burger. Great day with good friends. Will try thursday and will get a little more serious.

Welcome back Johnny. Did you get the storms down there that we got up here? My boat has been down for almost two weeks now and I am aggravated. I hope that I get my trolling motor back tomorrow, but of course it will be tomorrow afternoon if I do, because the wind is only going to be 5-10. Its the only day for the next week that it wont be blowing, so I know that IF I do get it back tomorrow, it will be to late to go fishing. I ordered the rectifier today from iboats.com. I called North Texas Marine and they wanted $93 for an OEM and iboats wanted $39 for a CDI. Thats going to take a week to get here, but I can still run the boat without it, just have to charge the battery. I am missing some of the best fishing of the year and I am getting agitated.
